         Miss Dream Memphis is a semi-glitz beauty pageant created in 2011 by founders Joia Thornton and Jaida Thornton, sisters and pageant coordinators for over 10 years. Miss Dream Memphis is a subsidiary program under the umbrella of Dream Girls Incorporated; a company designed to stimulate self confidence, character, and higher education in young girls. Both Joia and Jaida have worked with girls, and coordinated nationally renowned pageants, cotillions, and beautillions throughout the country. Miss Dream Memphisbeauty pageant is their new project that they plan to grow and nurture, so girls throughout the Mid-South will gain a sense of pride and accomplishment within themselves!

            Miss Dream Memphis  is a semi-glitz beauty pageant requiring participants to center their preparation around such standards. The pageant scenes will consists of beauty, outfit of choice, and talent. The contestants will be judged on all three scenes within their specific age group. The contestant with the highest scores in each age group will win for their age group, and the contestant with the overall highest score will be the grand supreme winner of the entire pageant. The contestant with the highest score of all age groups in the talent scene will be the talent winner. Miss Dream Memphis welcomes girls age 6 to 12 to compete in an environment that builds self-esteem, confidence, and grace. Miss Dream Memphis is an annual pageant held in Memphis, Tennessee that is judged by former pageant title holders of the Miss Tennessee Pageant. The next Miss Dream Memphispageant will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Playhouse on the Square in Memphis, Tennessee. Parents who are interested in entering their daughter(s) in the pageant are encouraged to attend the interest meeting in order to receive an application and information packet.
